Data Privacy and AI Ethics Researcher 

I'm a Lecturer in the School of Management and Marketing at Curtin University. My research explores the ethics of artificial intelligence, digital privacy, surveillance technologies, and the conditions for meaningful informed consent.

My work combines philosophy, technology ethics, and public policy, with a particular focus on how emerging technologies reshape privacy, autonomy, accountability, and trust.

​

I am also interested in the philosophy of self-knowledge, investigating how people come to know their own minds and exercise authority over their beliefs, decisions, and consent.

I contribute to public discussions on technology and ethics through The Conversation, where I have written on facial recognition technology, AI-enabled policing, digital privacy, and automated enforcement systems.
